Call for Proposals

The CGA call for proposals opens Thursday, August 17th and closes Tuesday, October 3rd.

Types of Presentations

Types of presentations include but are not limited to:
  • Case studies highlighting progress on reaching the CGA 50 in 5 goal
  • Effective new concepts for damage prevention
  • Industry trends issues and concerns
  • Emergency technologies
  • Interactive and educational sessions that provide participants with hands on learning opportunities, skill development, or in-depth training on a specific topic.
  • Panel discussion featuring a group of experts who engage in a moderated conversation, debate or discussion on the specific theme or issue such as 50 in 5, Next Practices, etc.

Submission Guidelines

Submitters are encouraged to follow these guidelines:

  • Proposals must be submitted by the deadline and fully complete. You are encouraged to submit a new presentation that has not been previously presented.
  • Presentations that are technical in nature are welcome, but those emphasizing practical real world needs of contractors, owners’ engineers and damage prevention professionals are preferred.
  • Proposals from damage prevention professionals rather than vendor only sessions are strongly preferred.
  • A committee comprised of CGA committee Co-chairs along with CGA leadership and the Conference Advisory Panel will be responsible for reviewing abstracts and selecting those to be included in the final program.
