Who Can Attend

The CGA Conference & Expo is open to professionals across the damage prevention industry, including utility operators, 811 call center staff, excavators, engineering and construction professionals, safety and compliance officers, public works and municipal leaders, regulators, and technology providers.

Registration is limited to qualified industry professionals. Business partners and suppliers may attend only if they are participating as exhibitors, sponsors, or confirmed conference speakers (Content Leaders). This policy helps ensure a high-value experience for all attendees by maintaining a strong balance between buyers and solution providers.

Please note: No one under the age of 18 may enter the Expo Hall at any time.
CGA reserves the right to review and decline ineligible registrations in order to maintain the integrity of the event.

Cancellation/Refund/Substitution Policies:

Substitutions are gladly accepted for the CGA Conference & Expo.
A full registration substitution may be made prior to the event by submitting a written request to events@commongroundalliance.com. Onsite substitutions must be accompanied by a copy of the original confirmation email or registration receipt.

Please note:

  • Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant.
  • The individual submitting the request is responsible for any outstanding balance or financial obligations related to the substitution.
  • Badge sharing, splitting, and badge reprints are strictly prohibited to maintain the integrity of attendance.

Registration is limited to qualified industry professionals. Business partners and suppliers may attend only if they are participating as exhibitors, sponsors, or confirmed conference speakers (Content Leaders). Exceptions are granted only to CGA Board of Directors, Content Leaders, and active committee or task force members scheduled to meet in person during the conference.

Guest/Spouse Registration

Invite your spouse or a non-industry guest to join you at the CGA Conference & Expo! We’re pleased to offer a special guest registration option that allows your companion to experience select highlights of the event — even if they’re not in the industry.

Guest registration includes:

  • Access to select evening networking events
  • Admission to Opening and Closing Keynote Sessions
  • Entry to the Expo Hall on designated days

You may also choose to purchase à la carte guest tickets for:

  • Select evening receptions
  • City tours or off-site networking excursions
  • Community service project activities (based on availability)
